Knox County Indiana Man Arrested After Fleeing Grayville Police Tuesday Afternoon

A Knox County, Indiana man is behind bars in White County after Grayville Police made an arrest Tuesday.  It all began just after 4:30pm when a Grayville officer says he was made aware of a potential reckless driver near Gillard’s Hardware.  On arrival, the officer says he made contact with the driver, 27-year-old Dillon Marshall of Monroe City, Indiana and investigation revealed Marshall was driving on a suspended drivers license and had warrants for his arrest and extradition.  The man would eventually flee on foot before being taken into custody where he was found in possession of what was believed to be methamphetamine and brass knuckles.

Dillon was in White County court Wednesday and is facing charges of being a Felon in Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Resisting Arrest.  That’s in addition to the Indiana warrants he was arrested on which include a Failure to Appear out of Knox County, Violation of Probation out of Daviess County with a Petition to Revoke Suspended Sentence on the offense of Theft.  According to online court records, Dillon waived his right to an attorney and was given a preliminary hearing date of April 8th.  He’s expected to be extradited back to the Hoosier state on those outstanding warrants.
