October 2024
It took nearly a year and four months, but a conclusion was finally reached in a case against Crossville resident David Selph Wednesday in White County court. Selph was last arrested in mid-November of 2024 and charged with Possession of Meth and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also arrested in late October on charges of Illegal Use of Vehicle/Structure/Property with regards to the drug, Possession of Meth, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Illegal Transportation of Liquor. On Wednesday, Selph agreed to a plea deal in which he was convicted on the Illegal Use of Property charge and one of the Possession of Meth charges while all others were dismissed. Selph received 2 years of Probation and was fined.
