Aylsworth Warrant Served

White County Sheriff deputies arrived at a residence in Carmi to execute a warrant.
According to the report, officers went to a home on Tuesday afternoon to deliver a White County warrant to Arwen Aylsworth.
The report explained that the court issued the warrant because Arwen Aylsworth failed to appear for a 2024 charge of Resisting a Peace Officer.
The officer stated that Arwen’s father put a blanket over her, and that is when she walked into the kitchen, grabbed two butter knives off the counter, and headed up the stairs to her room. The officer grabbed her by the wrists. She then dropped the knives, and a brief struggle ensued. The deputy reported that he was kicked a few times in the left leg before he was able to place handcuffs on her.
She was then walked to a deputy’s vehicle and taken to the White County Jail. There, she was provided a form from Egyptian Health referencing an Order of Examination and was also issued two citations for Aggravated Battery of a Peace Officer and Resisting Arrest.
At her court hearing on Wednesday morning, she was released pending a court hearing for the new charges.
