A Grayville woman is behind bars on a handful of charges picked up Monday afternoon in Carmi. Police pulled over 48-year-old Sabrina Carter just before 3pm near the intersection of Main and Staley and she was lodged in the White County Jail on charges including Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon without a FOID, Possession of Ammunition without a FOID, Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Her vehicle was towed from the scene by S&E Towing. Carter will remain behind bars until she can be seen by a judge.
