Sheriff’s Deputies Make Probation Office Arrests Wednesday

White County Sheriff’s Deputies made a pair of arrests Wednesday at the White County Probation Office.  Just before 1:30pm Wednesday, an officer was called to the office in reference to 63-year-old Tommy Clark of Mill Shoals who was allegedly attempting to defraud a drug test.  In the subsequent investigation, the deputy says he discovered a urinary deceptive device attached to him and took possession of it as evidence.  Clark was arrested and is being held behind bars on a charge of Attempt to Defraud a Drug/Alcohol Screening Test along with a charge of violation of probation.  Clark was in court Thursday and is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on March 4th on a separate case with a handful of charges including alleged Burglary that dates back to an October 2025 arrest.

An hour and a half after that incident, a deputy was called back to the probation office for 25-year-old Tyler Dill of Carmi.  His violation of probation is in relation to a February 2025 conviction on a charge of Aggravated DUI while License Suspended/Revoked.  In October of last year, Dill was fined, jailed for ten days, ordered into alcohol treatment, and given two years of probation.  Dill was in court Thursday and sentenced to 134 days in jail.
