Two Arrested by White County Sheriff Department

A Deputy of the White County Sheriff’s Department was observing traffic detail on January 15th when he observed a male individual using his cellular device while driving a silver Hyundai car.
The driver, Daniel Palaviccini, handed the officer a valid Texas driver’s license, but when the officer checked with dispatch, Palaviccini’s Illinois license was suspended. He was placed under arrest and taken to the White County Jail.
Once there, a notice to appear was given to Palaviccini for using an electronic communication device while driving and driving while license suspended.
25 minutes after midnight on January 16th, an Equality man was riding his gas-propelled bicycle when he ran through a stop light at Fairground and Main.
The Deputy ran the driver’s information and realized he was wanted on two warrants out of White County and Saline County. The White County warrant is for possession of a stolen vehicle and theft, and the Saline County warrant is for domestic battery bodily harm and domestic battery physical contact.
Charles Wenzel was taken to the White County Jail on failure-to-appear warrants.
