White County Deputies Make Pair of Warrant Arrests

White County Sheriff’s authorities have made a pair of warrant arrests.  The first, Friday morning, was on Donald Stover of Carmi.  The report suggests Stover was already behind bars when a parole warrant came through for the 50-year-old.  The warrant was issued through the Illinois Department of Corrections and was a no bond warrant keeping him detained until further notice.  As of Monday afternoon, Stover remains jailed at the White County facility.  He was arrested on Thursday, December 4th on charges of Criminal Damage to Property and Theft with Intent to Deliver.  Stover was in court for a first appearance on those charges Monday morning.

Saturday afternoon, a deputy was dispatched to 406 West Main in Crossville in reference to a Patti Hyatt wishing to sign a complaint.  She told the deputy that she’d never signed a complaint for a previous event and wished to do so.  At that point, the deputy told Hyatt she had an active Failure to Appear warrant and placed her under arrest.  She would spend the remainder of the weekend behind bars, but was released Monday morning.  There’s no word in the report on whether she was able to successfully file the complaint for which she called the Sheriff’s Department originally.
