Lady Bulldogs Roll Past Eldorado to Stay Unbeaten

The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team continued their dominant start to the season Thursday night, going on the road and defeating Eldorado 43–17 to improve to 7–0.

Carmi seized control early, leading 9-4 after the first quarter and stretching the advantage to 24-7 by halftime. The Lady Bulldogs kept the pressure on in the second half, carrying a 33-12 lead into the fourth on their way to another convincing conference win.

Caroline Simmons paced Carmi with 18 points, while Addi Elliott added 9. Torrie Rider chipped in 6, Jaya Smith scored 3, and Natalie Goemaat, Eva Attebury, and Ella Newell each added 2 points. Norah Taylor rounded out the scoring with 1 point.

With the victory, Carmi moves to 2–0 in Black Diamond Conference play. The Lady Bulldogs return home on Monday for another BDC matchup as they host Fairfield.
