41-year-old Amber Walkenbach is out on Pre-Trial Release following her arrest by Carmi Police Tuesday night. It was about 10:40pm when an officer pulled Walkenbach over at the corner of Oak and 9th. The report indicates she was pulled over due to failure to use a turn signal. She was subsequently arrested on charges of Driving while License Suspended and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Walkenbach was sentenced to 2 years of supervision on a Driving while License Suspended charge in September.
Update: The Carmi Police say Christian Stevens was not a passenger in the vehicle. He is listed in the report however and we included him in the original story.
