A Carmi man is behind bars following an early Monday morning arrest on Church Street. Carmi officers picked up 65-year-old Timothy Gade just before 5am. The Burrell Street man is jailed on a charge of Domestic Battery with the alleged victim a 61-year-old male.
Carmi Police also picked up a Grayville man late Sunday night. It was just before 11pm when law
enforcement arrested 24-year-old Tyler Dill of Grayville. Dill is behind bars on a Failure to Appear warrant for aggravated DUI with a License Suspended/Revoked kicker. At the time of his arrest, Dill was also served with an Edwards County arrest warrant for Failure to Appear on an Aiding/Abetting the Possession/Sale of a Stolen Vehicle charge there. Additionally, Dill picked up charges of Obstructing Justice and Resisting a Peace Officer during his Sunday night arrest.
An Energy, Illinois man was arrested on an active warrant out of Union County Sunday evening. Carmi Police pulled over 30-year-old Christopher Edwards at Rock Bottom just before 10pm. He was cuffed on a charge of Failure to Appear out of Union County.
