A White County Sheriff Deputy was contacted by a lieutenant of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department about a woman wanted on a warrant out of Wayne County, and that the woman had stolen items in her possession.
The Deputy went to the residence in Springerton where the woman, Joanna Lane, lived. Lane answered and was informed of the Wayne County arrest warrant for Forgery. Once Lane was placed in handcuffs, the Deputy asked her about stolen items, which consisted of a gray glider rocker and a brown mini bar, both of which were located on the back porch.
Lane was transported by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and placed into custody.
