Pets @ Risk Top 50 Field Set for 2026 Calendar Contest

The 4^th annual Pets @ Risk Pet Calendar Contest has its 50 finalists.  It took less than 24 hours to fill up the preliminary slots for this year’s calendar.  Now that the field is stacked, the public will get to vote on which 12 make the cut and are featured on the official 2026 Pets@Risk calendar.  Voting by monetary donation will take place over the next several weeks leading up to and through Corn Day.  Jars with the finalist’s pictures will be set up at Tractor Supply in Carmi through October 9th.  Then, on Saturday, October 11^th, folks can drop dollars and coins in the jars at the Pets @ Risk non-profit booth on Main Street.  All 50 animals will be featured on the cover of the calendars with the top 12 prominently featured on individual months of the 2026 edition.  Calendars will be made available for $10 each in December until stock runs out.  See below for the full list of finalists:
