Page Jailed on FTA Ahead of Court Date; Carmi PD Make Three Other Weekend Arrests

Carmi Police ensured a local man wouldn’t miss his Monday morning court date by arresting him on a warrant Friday evening.  Just before 6:30pm, officers arrested 27-year-old Nicholas Page at a home on Fackney.  A felony warrant had been issued.  Page is due in court Monday for a pre trial hearing on several charges in multiple cases.  Page failed to appear back on August 4th.

 

Just after 11pm Friday, Carmi Police pulled over 31-year-old Brayden Overfield of Carmi.  He would end up arrested on charges of Driving while License Suspended and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle along with a citation for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol by a Driver.  The passenger, Haley Thompson was also cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol.  Both individuals would be released with a Notice to Appear.

 

Saturday night, just before midnight, Carmi Police arrested 44-year-old Kelly DePeugh of McLeansboro.  She was stopped at about 11:45pm on Oak at Lexington Avenue and subsequently arrested for Driving while License Suspended.  DePeugh would be released just after 1am Sunday and given a Notice to Appear.  She’s expected in White County Court on September 30th.
