
A 65-year-old Crossville man is out on court ordered release from the States Attorney’s office following his arrest by Carmi Police late last Thursday. Officers pulled over John Peterson of 4th Street in Crossville near Airport Road at about 10:30pm Thursday. He was arrested on charges of Possession of Meth, Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Firearm without a FOID Card, and Possession of Ammunition without a FOID Card. The initial report indicates he was to be detained until being seen by a judge, but ended up being released via court order on Friday afternoon at 2pm.

A Cisne man is out on Pre-Trial release following his arrest late Saturday. Just after 9pm, officers pulled over a Chevy pickup driven by 21-year-old Cody Lee Hart due to his registration not matching the truck. Hart was arrested for Unlawful Display of Registration and later released with a Notice to Appear and a ticket for driving without insurance.

Just before 3am Sunday, officers pulled over on Fairground at Hucks 52-year-old Chad Oxford of Carmi. He was booked and processed following preliminary charges of Unlawful Use of License or Permit and given a ticket for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Oxford was given a Notice to Appear and released just under two hours after the incident.
