Walters, Anderson Sentenced in White County Court Thursday

A pair of Norris City men have been sentenced in White County court.  Thursday, Isaac Anderson agreed to a plea deal which saw him plead guilty to a charge of Solicitation of a Minor.  A charge of Obstruction of Justice/Destroying Evidence was dismissed.  Anderson will spend up to 2 years behind bars in the Department of Corrections minus credit for 13 days of time served.  In addition, Anderson will have 6 months of Mandatory Supervised Release once he gets out.  Also Thursday, the court sentenced 19-year-old Joshua Walters on 3 of 4 counts including Child Pornography and Exploitation of a Child under the age of 13.  In total, Walters is expected to spend up to 16 years in prison with 3 years of Mandatory Supervised Release following his incarceration.  He’s been credited with 163 days of time served.  The men were arrested in March of this year.
