A bad night got worse for a California woman Wednesday night. It was around 6:30pm when Hamilton County Sheriff’s authorities were called to Dolan Lake to handle a domestic situation. Law enforcement would arrest 48-year-old Nathan Masner. Hamilton County States Attorney Justin Hood says Masner is being charged with Domestic Battery. Rachel Masner was allowed to leave the scene. Nathan Masner is behind bars at the White County Jail where he’s been reunited geographically with Rachel following her arrest later. Authorities in Hamilton County are working to file a petition to detain in hopes of holding a detention hearing later today.
It was about 10pm when Carmi police pulled over 46-year-old Rachel Masner of Bakersfield, California for driving with a suspended registration. She would subsequently be arrested and faces felony charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Use of Property as well as misdemeanor charges of Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Registration Suspended and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Masner also received a citation for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
