A Carmi man and woman are behind bars following their arrest at Pundrakes in Carmi Friday morning. Carmi Police say they spotted the pair in a vehicle at the gas station and have arrested them on a laundry list of charges. 33 year old Tara Keown is facing allegations of driving while license suspended, possession of Meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of property, Unlawful possession of a Title without complete assignment, and also possession of
cannabis in a motor vehicle. Three of those are felony charges. 29 year old Levi Williams was initially picked up on a Wayne County Failure to Appear Warrant. He’s facing possession of cannabis in a vehicle, possession of meth, unlawful use of property, and possession of drug paraphernalia charges as well. Bond on Williams’ warrant was set at $300 cash with the remainder of bond to be set by a judge. The pair are due in White County court before Judge T. Scott Webb Monday morning.
