35 year old Tara J. White of Carmi was stopped by Carmi Police Friday afternoon on Third Street at the Carmi Fire Department. She was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. A search of a backpack in the truck revealed a meth pipe with meth in it. White was additionally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Use of Property. She was taken to the White County Jail where she remains held.
