Water Plant Operator for Carmi, Van Scott tells WROY/WRUL News residents should be prepared for a planned water outage on Saturday July 25th. The water outage is expected to begin at 5am and will be so that a crew can replace a fire hydrant. The affected areas include the 1000 block of West Main St, the West side of College Blvd, all of Montgomery Circle and all of April Avenue. Residents can expect to be without water for up to 4 or 5 hours and are advised there will be a boil order in place following the outage until further notice.
