Carmi police arrested Carl Gene Matthews, 46 of 603 Smith Street just before 10 Wednesday night.
Matthews was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended or revoked. He was arrested after local authorities stopped him on Fifth Street, north of Stewart Street while Matthews was driving a lawnmower.
Bond was set at $150.
By the way, the lawnmower a Craftsmen 42 inch cut.
