Lady Bulldogs Add to their Win Column
Senior Julia Smith and junior Sydney Lucas each scored 14 points Thursday night to lead coach Clinton Wolff’s Lady Bulldogs to a 46-39 win at Goreville.
The second quarter proved to be the turning point, as Carmi outscored the Blackcats 11-3 in the second frame.
Mariah VanMatre added seven points, Mayci Edwards six and Elleigh Gray five.
Carmi is now 4-8 on the season and will host Woodlawn Monday evening.
