Judith A. Barger 90 of Springfield, formerly of Enfield and Palmyra, IL, passed away Saturday October 31, 2020 at her home. She was born December 12, 1945 in Enfield, the daughter of James Claude and Thelma (Newman) Lane. She married Robert Barger on December 12, 1962 at the Enfield General Baptist Church.
Judy retired after 25 years as an assembler and production supervisor with an electronic company. Judy and Bob called Palmyra, IL home for over 34 years and she loved sewing, doing crafts and camping.
She is survived by her daughters, Melinda (Jeff) Oakley and LaDonna (Jeff) Miller; five grandchildren, Robert (Kim) Oakley, Elaine (Brandon) Hall, Matthew Oakley, Lance (Lindsey) Miller and Kayla (Jon) Karr; and eight great-grandchildren; her brother, James A. (Ann) Lane; and sisters, Marsha (Clyde) Rush and Sharon (Ron) Barger.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday November 4, 2020 at Little Zion Cemetery in Enfield. Masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Willis Family 4th of July Firework Display. The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield is in charge of arrangements.
