The problems caused to the college District by the State’s failure to adopt a budget were outlined by CEO Terry Bruce and CFO Roger Browning. The State provides over 40% of IECC’s operational budget and the State has made no payment to the District since July 1, 2015. The District has earned approximately $11.9 million by June 30, 2016. The plan suggested over $5 million in revenue growth and cost savings. The Board heard these recommendations at the regular meeting Tuesday, January 19 at Wabash Valley College, Mt. Carmel.
