Since it’s founding in June of 2014 and including money just gifted, Stay Positive Stay Aggressive, a Kentucky based non profit with roots in Carmi, has now given away more than $120,000 to provide direct financial assistance to families that need assistance due to disease. As the website puts it, “no gimmicks, no frills – just assistance to folks who need it”…Stay Positive Stay Aggressive, created by Jade Mitchell just this last weekend provided $22,000 total spread amongst 3 entities.
Amy Whetstone and Kayla Sutton were each recipients of $8,000 checks while SPSA bestowed $6,000 to the Carmi White County Unit 5 After School Program. The money was raised during SPSA’s 5th annual Charity Golf Scramble at the Carmi Country Club in May.
