McLeansboro Men Arrested
Two McLeansboro men are in the White County Jail on drug charges.
According to Hamilton County State’s Attorney Justin Hood, Landon L. Benbrook was arrested on two separate cases around midnight Tuesday for 5 counts of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine. The classification of the charges are three Class 2 felonies and two Class 1 felonies based on different weights of the methamphetamine during each delivery.
When Benbrook was arrested on his arrest warrant by McLeansboro Police, he was also charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine – a Class X felony – and use of property – a Class 2 felony. He is currently in White County Jail on $175,000 total bond.
Dustin M. Livingston was also arrested Tuesday on two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance – a Class 3 felony. He is currently in White County Jail and his bond is $35,000.
Hood says both defendants’ cases were handled by the Illinois State Police Drug Task Force.
