Baptist Children’s Home to Host Fall Festival
The Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services has been a part of the Carmi Community for many, many years and with that in mind, representatives of BCHFS invited everyone to this weekend’s annual Fall Festival. The celebration is set for Saturday.
The festival will be filled with games, great food, music, a quilt auction and more, all benefiting the children and families of BCHFS. There will be inflatables, horse riding, craft demonstrations, and campus and cottage tours.
The event is free and open to the public. Organizers urged area residents to come out and enjoy the day. It was explained this is an excellent opportunity for local residents to get to know a little more about the facility at 949 County Road 1300 North, on the outskirts of Carmi. The facility is just past White County Ford Dealership on Highway 1.
Along with the quilt auction there will also be a silent auction. Anyone wanting to donate to the silent auction, should drop their items off no later than today (fri) Handmade crafts, theme baskets, men, women or children’s items would be welcome donations to the auction.
This is the 19th year for the annual event, which will run from 10 until about 2 Saturday afternoon.
